WeSeeHope has been creating sustainable change for vulnerable children in Southern and Eastern Africa since 2000, when the charity was founded by husband and wife team Phil and Wendy Wall. 20 years on, the initiative has raised over £21million, which it has used to develop over 66,000 community-led programmes focusing on child rights, education and economic empowerment in Kenya, Malawi, Tanzania, Uganda and Zimbabwe.
Having visited WeSeeHope's programmes on the ground, our principal Tim Corfield has witnessed first-hand the palpable difference these initiatives are making to life in these communities.
The charity is funded through a range of initiatives, including the Hope Classic Rally, which Corfield Morris has supported since its inception in 2015. This fabulous two-day rally, where classic car collectors lend their cars for enthusiasts to drive, usually takes place in June, but in light of the spreading coronavirus pandemic the 2020 edition has been canceled.
With event-driven funding streams forced to a halt, WeSeeHope desperately needs your help. To find out more, donate, and find other ways to get involved, please click here.
