Are you dealers?
No. Antique and fine art dealers sell their own stock for the highest price they can achieve. Corfield Morris do not have a stock - we work specifically for the buyer trying to source the right items for the lowest possible price.
Are you decorators / interior designers?
No. Employees at Corfield Morris are experts in their field and specialise in advising clients on the purchase of antiques and fine art. We can work alongside decorators, interior designers and architects but we do not offer their range of services.
What is your fee structure?
Corfield Morris charge a commission on an agreed purchase price. We do not charge for meeting time or the time spent sourcing any required item.
Where do you operate?
Corfield Morris have an office just outside London and an office in Manhattan, giving ideal access to a number of the leading auction houses, fairs, collectors, museums and dealers of the world. We would fully expect to travel throughout Europe and the US to provide the necessary service for our clients.
Do you only advise on wonderful objects?
Corfield Morris work at all levels of the market, with an underlying principal of advising on the best items within any level.
Aren't I looking for what everyone
else is looking for?
No. There is inevitably some overlap but given the size of the market and our clients' hugely varied needs conflicts are rarely a problem.
Are you like property search companies?
Yes. We are very similar in many ways. A number of our clients have drawn parallels between our business and that of Property Vision, the leading UK-based property search company. |
